Adult Formation
On the First Sunday of Advent, we began a new liturgical year, and with it, Lectionary Year A (The readings in our worship follow a three-year cycle – A, B and C). Year A emphasizes the Gospel of Matthew, especially during the season after Pentecost, so this is a good time to explore his gospel. We will take several sessions to do so, including a look at its origins, context and its likely intended audience. We will also discuss Matthew’s unique view of Jesus and how his gospel compares with the others. Join us at 9am in the Parish Hall.
The Taste of Hawaii is the original food and wine tasting event for the islands and on Kauai. Produced by the Rotary Club of Kapaa and countless community volunteers, this year marks their 32nd year of hosting The Ultimate Sunday Brunch. Sunday June 7th, 2026 at Smith’s Tropical Paradise. The event runs from 11:30-3:30. St. Michael's will be volunteering to support this event. We are asking for volunteers for a 3 hour shift on Sunday afternoon. We will be ordering tee shirts with St Michael's logo on them. If you would like to help, please sign up by the 10th of May on the list in the back of the church and list your shirt size. More information about our time slot will be available soon.
Mother’s Day
Plan to celebrate all ladies on May 10th, after the 10 am service, with desserts in the Parish Hall!
