“You go out to my people as God’s messengers…Our
beloved Church regards her children as having bodies as well as souls to
be cared for, and sanctions the consecration of these and of all that is
beautiful in nature and in art to the service of God” -- Queen Emma
Aloha!
Whether you are a local resident searching for a
faith community or an island visitor seeking spiritual renewal, we welcome
you to St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church in Lihue, Kauai, Hawaii.
Located at the corner of Umi and Hardy Streets (map) in the
heart of Lihue, St. Michael’s is an open, inclusive and diverse parish.
Here you’ll find an exciting array of opportunities for
fellowship, spiritual growth, and outreach. Worship is at the heart of all
that we do. Our main service is on Sunday at 9:45 am and includes
music and activities for children and youth. We also offer more
contemplative services on Saturday at 5:30 p.m. and Sunday at 7:30 a.m.
Come and experience our unique blend of Hawaiian and Anglican
traditions.
It’s the people of St. Michael’s who really set our
community apart. They are creative, interesting, caring and fun. You’ll
enjoy meeting them and we gladly welcome you as part of our ohana
(family).
There is much to discover about St. Michael’s on
