The mission of St. Michael and All
Angels Church is to invite all people to experience unity with God and
communion with each other in Christ.
to reach out with aloha
Visitors and seekers are part of our congregation each week. We
are committed to greeting everyone with aloha and welcoming each
person to experience the love of Christ in our midst. We honor our
guests and we seek to know them better.
to offer our gifts to god
Many hands, hearts, and voices contribute to each service, and we
are committed to putting forth our best efforts in worship. We honor
our Anglican tradition, we love our liturgy, and we like to mix it
up with contemporary music and Hawaiian language, music, and dance.
On Sundays, some of us are offering our gifts by taking care of
the children and youth, helping to shape their religious
understanding and faith. Others are offering adult classes and
discussion groups between the services. At the 9:45 service, people
offer healing prayers. And following the services, we enjoy the
gifts of food and fellowship in the Parish Hall.
to serve christ in the world
Restored and strengthened each week, we go forth into our daily
lives and working week to serve Christ in the world. Our parish
supports Loaves & Fishes, the largest food pantry on Kauai. Our offerings also support
the Diocese of Hawaii, Camp Mokuleia on Oahu, Episcopal Relief &
Development, and other special needs.
